Director change for Vikram’s Karikalan

Karikalan was the mostly talked movie and a period flick that stars Chiyaan Vikram and Zarine Khan in the lead roles, which has now opted for the director change.

Director Kannan has earlier finished 25% of shooting of Karikalan that was put on hold due to some unavoidable reasons and Vikram happened to move towards his next film Thaandavam with director AL Vijay, Anushka, Lakshmi Rai, Amy Jackson, Jagapathy Babu et al in the pivotal roles.

Latest we hear makers of Karikalan has chosen Gandhikrishna to take over the directorial from Kannan, while the reasons are not unveiled. Let us wait to see whether Karikalan will be revived soon, as Vikram is done with the shooting schedules of his Thaandavam.
