Vaenna Vaenna…
Rahul Nambiar
Lyrics : Na Muthukumar
Instantly likeable with very catchy beats that are gentle and easy on the ear. A song that talks about the hero’s aversion towards money, strangely. Very interesting. Has the potential to become a huge hit. The chorus “I don’t don’t want a one rupee coin” is the signature catch phrase of this song. Great start to the album
Oru Megham…
MLR Karthikeyan, Divya
Lyrics: Viveka
A signature Thaman song that is good to listen to but nothing special. The female singer is refreshing and brings the ‘cool’ element to the song. The beats are catchy and the instrumentals are decent. A passable fast melody. The male singer’s voice has needlessly been synthesized.
Dhinnakku Dhina…
MLR Karthikeyan, Rita
Lyrics : Na Muthukumar
Has a nice classical touch to it though it doesn’t lose out on the universal likeability quotient too. The female singer again brings in the necessary zing to the song. The male vocals remind of Shankar Mahadevan’s. A nice attempt by Thaman. He has gone out of his comfort zone for this song. Has the Rahman feel to it. Good job
Yenmele Indru…
Rahul Nambiar, Megha
Lyrics: Viveka
Another winner in this album. Super beats with cool and trendy vocals. The youth will dig into this. The instrumentals before the first stanza are quirky and make an impact.
Aaruyire…
Ranjith, Priyadharshini
Lyrics : Na Muthukumar
After some interesting numbers, this number brings the album down a notch. Thaman’s favorite Ranjith is in his heavily synthesized mode in this song. The female vocals are refreshing amid the average stuff around.
Verdict: Thaman has another winner in hand after Osthe and the recent sensation KSY. Light hearted and entertaining album.
