As per sources in the industry, it has tremendous title value, as the slain LTTE leader Prabhakaran is a revered figure in Tamil Nadu.
Prabhakaran is a full length mass action movie and a remake of Gopichand’s Telugu film Shouryam.
The film has Sameera Reddy as the heroine and Vivek provides the comedy. It has music by Vijay Antony.
The climax of Prabhakaran is now being shot in Bidar a small town near Hyderabad, with which 80 percent of the film will be over. The film is scheduled for an August 15 release.
